OSBI revisits 1982 cold case of 35-year old Linda Mack

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Authorities with the OSBI Cold Case Unit is highlighting 35-year-old Linda Mack, who was found deceased the night of October 12, 1982.

According to police, Mack worked as a nurse for Sayre Hospital and left around 11:00 p.m. that night. Her vehicle was later discovered along Highway 34, South of Elk City. Mack’s body was found nearby, as it was determined she suffered injuries consistent with homicide. A light or white colored pickup truck, with a bar on the front bumper, is considered a possible vehicle of interest.
