Pair preparing for yard sale at Regina home attacked by person with knife

Regina police are asking the public for help after two people were assaulted by a person with a knife while they were preparing to hold a yard sale at their River Heights home.

Police were called to the home on the 4100 block of 17th Avenue around 11:25 a.m. Thursday and found two people who had been hurt, according to a police news release.

Police say the victims were preparing to hold a yard sale when a man approached and assaulted them with a knife, then fled.

The victims were sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police ask anyone with information to call the Regina Police Service or Crimestoppers.
