Pennsylvanians appointed to Service Academies
WASHINGTON D.C. (WHTM) – Twenty-one Pennsylvanians, including three Midstate residents, have accepted appointments to the United States service academies.
The announcement was made Friday by U.S. Senator Bob Casey, who nominated the residents after an application and interview process.

The Senator’s office says all of the nominees are “selected on merit, with consideration given to character, leadership potential, extracurricular activities, and academic ability.”
