Pensacola man accused of shooting into girlfriend’s motel room: ECSO

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla (WKRG) — A Pensacola man accused of shooting into a motel room has been arrested, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies with the ECSO arrested 26-year-old Martez Deuntay Johnson on Thursday, June 20, around 4:21 p.m. after they responded to an incident that happened at Queen Mary Inn on Davis Highway.

According to authorities, Johnson allegedly shot into a motel room that his girlfriend was in.

The bullet went into the window and through the floor, according to reports, but Johnson’s girlfriend was not injured.

Johnson was taken to the Escambia County Jail, where he is being held without bond on charges of attempted homicide, a weapons offense, battery, and damage of property/ criminal mischief.
