Person found in possible abduction at bus station: MPD

UPDATE:

Greyhound reached out to us with a contradicting statement on Tuesday regarding the alleged abduction.

According to Greyhound, a passenger who had exited the bus at the bus station was approached by an individual who offered them a ride in their vehicle.

The passenger allegedly rejected the individual’s offer and reported the incident to the station’s security guard. The Memphis Police Department was also notified out of an abundance of caution.

“The safety and comfort of all of our passengers and employees is and will continue to be our top priority,” said Greyhound in a statement.
