PHOTOS: Storms continue to batter East Texas
TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Storms continue to cause damages throughout East Texas, with more severe thunderstorms and high winds rolling through on Tuesday morning.
Canton

“The whole time our doors are constantly shaking,” Alexis Jandew, Canton resident, said.
Canton, along with the rest of Van Zandt County, has faced downed trees, powerlines and other debris in the wake of early morning storms on Tuesday.
“We have had a couple of entrapments that we’ve had to help out with early in the morning,” Kim Clark, emergency services operator for the South Van Zandt Fire Department, said.
A family that lives right next to where a tree fell on CR 2301 said with the loud thunder and strong winds they never even heard it come down.
“As soon as it happened, all of the lights went out and it’s really shocking,” Jandrew said. “We really did not hear a thing.”
