Pinpoint Weather: This weekend is hot

This weekend will be mostly clear and hot with high temperatures in the of 90-98. Morning lows will be in the 60s to low 70s. Here is a look at each afternoon for our region.

The hot weather will continue through next week.

The HeatRisk for the weekend is Moderate to Major.

The HeatRisk maps indicate where those who are sensitive to heat or exposed to high temperatures may be at risk for heat-related illness.

We are in drought conditions for our region. There are some rain chances this weekend but they’ll only be isolated to scattered. There is a slight chance of strong storms in our northern counties Sunday afternoon and evening.

Rain chances will be off and on throughout the week.
