PNM offering past-due bill payment event

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Thursday, the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) will host a free assistance event in Albuquerque to help residential customers who’ve received a disconnect notice pay past-due electricity bills. The event will be at the Los Griegos Health & Social Services Center (1231 Candelaria Rd. NW) from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

PNM doesn’t expect brownouts this summer

Those seeking help will need to bring a proof of disconnect notice from PNM, their PNM bill, proof of income and identification for everyone living in the home, their Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and/or SNAP benefits for the current year. Alternatively, people can visit the PNM website to see a list of PNM Good Neighbor Fund locations where an appointment can be scheduled at a more convenient location.
