Police: Dead body of man found in the water at the Wharf

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police said they found a dead body in the water at the Wharf Friday evening.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it received a call at around 5:09 p.m. that somebody had found the body of a dead man in the water near Wharf St. in Southwest.

The body was taken to the medical examiner to determine a cause of death.
