Public invited to meeting about Mifflinburg parks and pools

Jun. 21—MIFFLINBURG — A public presentation for the Mifflinburg Borough's Parks Master Plan and Pool Study will be held on June 27.

The event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mifflinburg Borough Office Building, 120 N. Third Street, Mifflinburg. The presentations will be hosted by Herbert Rowland & Grubic Inc. of Lewisburg, and Counsilman-Hunsaker of St. Louis.

The public is invited to hear about the initial findings and concept plans for the Community Park and Harry Haney Park.

The Parks Master Plan will focus on understanding the park and recreation needs of borough and school district residents to help develop master site plans for both community park and Harry Haney Park. The pool study will analyze the existing community pool, including its condition, uses, opportunities and challenges, and develop recommendations for future aquatics needs and improvements.
