Quantum Loophole has donated $8,000 to the Frederick Community College Foundation to fund scholarships for two full-time students in the STEM program.

The FCC Foundation is a nonprofit that provides scholarship aid to eligible students, according to its website.

Quantum Loophole plans to build a campus of data centers on the former site of the Alcoa Eastalco aluminum smelting plant, which is about 2,100 acres, near Adamstown.

“The FCC Foundation is immensely grateful to Quantum Loophole for their generous scholarship donation,” said Chris Clemons, the foundation’s vice-chair, in a news release from the college.

“This support plays a crucial role in empowering our students to achieve their academic and professional dreams. Together, we are building a brighter future for our community.”
