Rantoul Clean-Up Day scheduled for Saturday

RANTOUL, Ill. (WCIA) — Village leaders are gearing up for the free Clean-Up Day in Rantoul this weekend.

The event is scheduled for June 22 from 8 a.m. to noon on Galaxy Drive. Residents will be able to dispose of any large, bulky items in their cars for free.

No yard waste, electronics, or regular trash will be accepted at the event. A maximum of 2.5 cubic yard (or approx. 5’x5’x3’ tall) will be accepted.

The event is only available to Rantoul residents who pay for garbage service on the utility bills. Eligible residents are asked to bring a copy of their recent utility bill.
