Fresno PD recommends all to carry Narcan in case of emergency
This initiative is designed to make Narcan available to everyone, especially to those who might not otherwise have access to it, police say. It can be obtained anonymously and at no cost.
According to police, Narcan is a crucial tool in saving lives during opioid overdose situations; the goal is to empower the community by making this emergency treatment readily available.
Residents can pick up two doses of Narcan at 500 E. 11th Street in Reedley during regular business hours. Officers say there will be no questions asked and while supplies last. Each kit will come with a frequently asked questions sheet and brief training to ensure it is being used correctly.
