Scattered showers Saturday night, temps in the 90s

ST. LOUIS — Expect moderate heat to continue into next week. While temperatures have been above normal, they have not reached extreme levels, with heat index values staying below 100.

The cumulative effects of the heat are adding up. Daily temperatures will be in the 90s through at least next Wednesday. On Saturday, Monday, and especially Tuesday, temperatures may be near 100.

Here are the record highs for next week:

  • Friday: 99 (1988)

  • Saturday: 102 (1930)

  • Sunday: 101 (1930)

  • Monday: 102 (1988)

  • Tuesday: 102 (1954)

  • Wednesday: 102 (1954)

A weak front will bring scattered showers and non-severe storms on Saturday night, but it won’t affect evening events. While the rain is needed, it won’t be widespread. Temperatures will remain in the 90s on Sunday.
