The Chorale will perform a montage of 16 short classic selections, each in its original language, that span nearly 500 years, a news release said. It begins in the 1500s with a familiar work by Thomas Tallis, “If Ye Love Me,” and ends with a 21st-century composition by Eric Whitacre, “This Marriage."

Representing the centuries between and showcasing the classic musical styles of this broad musical history are short pieces by Giovanni Palestrina, Carlo Gesualdo, Henry Purcell, Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn, Giuseppe Verdi, Anton Bruckner, Joseph Rhineberger, Sergei Rachmaninov, Carl Orff, Randall Thompson and Moses Hogan.
