Severe weather sparks power outages across Hampton Roads

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Large regions in Hampton Roads experienced large power outages on Monday in light of the severe weather.

Around 4,500 outages were reported in Norfolk. In Mathews County, just under 5,500 people experienced outages, and around 1,500 outages in Gloucester, according to Dominion Energy’s website.

Outages have since been resolved.
