Shot charts from Kentucky basketball’s season-ending 80-76 NCAA Tournament loss to Oakland

The South Region No. 3 seed University of Kentucky men’s basketball team was defeated by No. 14 seed Oakland University 80-76 in the NCAA Tournament round of 64 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on Thursday night.

The Wildcats made 26 of 61 shots from the field (42.6%), 9 of 27 from 3-point range (33.3%) and 15 of 20 from the free-throw line (75%) during Kentucky’s postseason opener.

The Golden Grizzlies connected on 26 of 63 from the field (41.3%), 15 of 31 3-pointers (48.4%) and 13 of 23 foul shots (56.5%).
