Sleep Paralysis: A Waking Nightmare

Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to a ghoulish figure at the foot of your bed. You try to escape when you realize…you can't move. For the countless people who suffer from sleep paralysis, every night can be a living nightmare. The sleep disorder causes those affected to wake up in a semi-conscious, paralyzed state, oftentimes coupled with frightening hallucinations and spooky sounds. We spoke to a few sufferers of the real-life terror about what it feels like to live with sleep paralysis.
