Sporting CP advances to Portugal Soccer Cup final

LISBON – Sporting CP has advanced to the final of the Portugal Soccer Cup, after eliminating S. L. Benfica on a 4-3 aggregate score.

Sporting and Benfica battled to a 2-2 draw today in the second leg semi-final match held at Luz Stadium, after Sporting winning 2-1 in the first leg at Estádio José Alvalade.

Today, Hjulmand (47 minutes) and Paulinho (55 minutes) scored for Sporting, while Otamendi (52 minutes) and Rafa (64 minutes) scored for Benfica.
