Spring Canyon Park splash pad in Fort Collins is down. Here's where to go instead.

UPDATE: The Spring Canyon Park splash pad repairs were completed, and the water feature is up and running again, city staff reported at noon Saturday.

ORIGINAL STORY: So far, it's been a cruel summer for regulars at the Spring Canyon Park splash pad.

The popular water feature at the park, 2626 W. Horsetooth Road, wasn't operational for much of the month, according to social media posts in community groups on Facebook.

Earlier this this week, it was up and running. But the splash pad went down Thursday morning, said Peter Robinson Jr., a senior supervisor with the parks department, and the city is waiting for parts to arrive.

A note on the city of Fort Collins' website says the parks department is working to repair it as soon as possible.

"If all goes well, we anticipate having it up and running no later than Monday," Robinson told the Coloradoan in an email.
