State police investigating use of counterfeit money in Union County
Mar. 19—ALLENWOOD — State police in Milton are investigating the use of counterfeit money at a Dollar General in Allenwood.
State Trooper L. Hook, of the Milton State Police Barracks, reported that an individual attempted to use counterfeit money at 3:47 p.m. March 15 at Dollar General, 16768 U.S. Route 15, Gregg Township.
A 2020 GMC Terrain was involved, police said.
No further information was released. The investigation is ongoing.
