Stop Fraud Colorado websites see redesign

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser announced the launch of redesigned websites for Stop Fraud Colorado and No Más Fraude Colorado. Officials say the new websites are a “modern, user-friendly” update to the programs which will make it easier for Coloradans to educate themselves about frauds and scams, find resources and report fraud and scams.

It’s important for Coloradans to educate themselves about scams, fraud and other consumer issues. Now everyone will have updated, easier to use websites in English and Spanish to help them avoid frauds and scams.

The site has information about common types of scams and frauds and a revamped case database with case documents going as far back as 2015. Officials say more information will be added to the site frequently.

The programs also received new logos and colors that officials say represent the education and enforcement efforts of the office’s Consumer Protection section.
