Woods has been charged in connection with the deaths of 23-year-old Steven Burts, 24-year-old Deshun Isabell, and 25-year-old Tednequa Moore and her unborn child.

The three were found shot to death in a burned car on Casino Center Drive on November 10. Because Moore was pregnant at the time of her death, officials decided to pursue capital murder charges.

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office says Woods is currently in custody at the DeSoto County Jail on unrelated charges.

The sheriff’s office says 18-year-old Deonte Taylor and 20-year-old Anthony “A.J.” Carter also face charges in this homicide and that more arrests are expected.
