Toddler drowns in Stark County: Police
MASSILLON, Ohio (WJW) – Massillon police are investigating after they reported a toddler drowned over the weekend.

According to a Monday press release, the incident took place Sunday, June 16 at about 1 p.m.
Officials said, a 3-year-old boy was found unresponsive when officers arrived on the scene in the 600 block of Fries Street SE.
Officers provided life-saving measures until the Massillon Fire Department arrived. Officials said, the toddler was immediately transported to a hospital where he later died.

Officials tell FOX 8 that the drowning occurred in a pool.
The investigation is ongoing.
