UPDATE: 9:17 A.M. MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The earlier reported crash on I-81 in Montgomery County is now cleared and all lanes are open.

UPDATE: 8:21 A.M. MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Traffic is backed up for almost five miles on I-81 after a tractor-trailer crashed in Montgomery County.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Traffic is backed up for about two miles on Interstate 81 North in Montgomery County after a crash on Thursday morning.

The Virginia Department of Transportation says a tractor-trailer crashed at mile marker 130, near the Lafayette area. Traffic has been reduced to one lane, and drivers can expect delays in this area.
