Tulare Tractor Thief arrested, Tulare County Sheriffs say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 46-year-old man was arrested Thursday for grand theft of agricultural equipment, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

⁣Deputies say they were called to the area of Road 136 and County Line for a report of a stolen tractor and custom trailer with irrigation tubing. ⁣

⁣Ag Crimes Detectives responded and identified Jose Hernandez as the suspect responsible for the theft.  ⁣

⁣Hernandez was arrested for Grand Theft of Agricultural Equipment, as well as an active arrest warrant.

The tractor and trailer with the irrigation tubing, were returned to the owner.⁣
