Tulare Tractor Thief arrested, Tulare County Sheriffs say
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 46-year-old man was arrested Thursday for grand theft of agricultural equipment, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say they were called to the area of Road 136 and County Line for a report of a stolen tractor and custom trailer with irrigation tubing.
Ag Crimes Detectives responded and identified Jose Hernandez as the suspect responsible for the theft.
Hernandez was arrested for Grand Theft of Agricultural Equipment, as well as an active arrest warrant.
The tractor and trailer with the irrigation tubing, were returned to the owner.
