Two FRCC nursing programs are tops in Colorado

May 18—Front Range Community College's nursing programs were ranked in the top three of all nursing schools in the state, according to a new list compiled by RegisteredNursing.org.

The Larimer campus in Fort Collins earned the top spot for nursing schools in the state, and the Westminster campus was ranked third out of 28 programs statewide. The Boulder County campus in Longmont does not offer a nursing program. Front Range Community College's programs earn some of the highest pass rates in Colorado on the national nursing licensure exam. Last year, the pass rates for FRCC students were more than 98% at the Larimer campus and 97% at the Westminster campus, compared to the 88% national average, according to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
