Two men wounded in Gentilly, Central City shootings
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that sent two men to hospitals.
The first shooting happened in Central City on Tuesday, March 5.
Around 8:41 p.m., officers say they were called to investigate a shooting in the 2200 block of Jackson Avenue after a man arrived at a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his body.
The second shooting happened hours later on Wednesday, March 6 in Gentilly.

According to NOPD officers, around 8:48 a.m., they were alerted of a shooting in the 2500 block of Gentilly Boulevard after a man, suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand, arrived at a hospital.
Neither of the victims’ conditions were released.
