Two people injured in Russian attacks on Toretsk suburb and New-York

Two people have been injured in a strike by Russian troops on a suburb of Toretsk and the village of New-York.

Source: Anastasia Miedviedieva, the spokesperson for Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, in a comment to Suspilne Donbas

Quote: "At 16:00, the occupiers targeted the village of Pivnichne in Toretsk hromada  [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.]. A 56-year-old driver who was driving along one of the streets was injured in the enemy attack. He was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds."

Details: In addition, at 16:20, Russian troops struck the village of New-York. A 56-year-old woman was injured. She was provided with medical assistance.

Pre-trial investigations have been initiated under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
