Rideshare driver shot in the head in Brooklyn: NYPD

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A rideshare driver was shot in the head during a fight with two men outside an apartment building in Brooklyn Thursday night, police said.

Authorities found the 52-year-old driver with a gunshot wound to the head in a black Mercedes near 320 Lincoln Place in Prospect Heights at around 10 p.m., according to the NYPD. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The motive for the shooting was not immediately clear. Police are searching for two men who ran from the scene, according to the NYPD. It was unclear if the suspects were passengers.

There have been no arrests.
