Ukraine and Poland have held the final round of negotiations regarding the signing of a bilateral security agreement.

Details: Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President's Office, noted that the negotiating teams had conducted a difficult job, and now "we are close to concluding a bilateral security agreement".

"Poland's role in assisting Ukraine and bringing our victory closer cannot be overestimated. The agreement will be truly ambitious, reflecting most of our achievements and joint plans for the future," he said.

The parties noted the progress achieved and agreed upon a schedule of further actions to finalise the bilateral agreement and sign it shortly.

  • The bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and Poland could reportedly be finalised and signed before the NATO summit, which will be held on 9-11 July.
