Details: According to Zhovkva, Kyiv intends to host a second Peace Summit before the end of the year.

Quote: "The process should not be delayed. Ukraine, like no other, desires peace as quickly as possible. But we surely don't want peace based on what they call the ‘Russian understanding of reality’," he added.

Zhovkva further stated that the timing of the Summit will be determined not only by the US presidential elections, but also by the "intensity of work in the appropriate groups" that produce individual paragraphs of the Peace Formula.

"You heard the president say that the second Peace Summit would take place in months rather than years. This is Ukraine’s intention," said Zhovkva.

He also confirmed Ukraine's ambition to hold a second summit in one of the Global South countries, as previously expressed by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

"And this makes sense, given that the first summit was held in a European country, neutral Switzerland. According to the logic of events, this summit should take place in one of the Global South countries. Which country specifically remains to be seen. This is a work in progress," the official added.

The President's Office says that the concluding document of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland might be supported by additional countries that have not yet signed it.
