Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office to host first Easter Eggstravaganza

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 30.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for children 12 and under at the Law Enforcement Training Academy (LETA). The hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided at 11 a.m.. Cotton candy and popcorn will be available for everyone.

“We are excited to welcome Virginia Beach families to our first Easter Eggstravanza at
LETA,” said Virginia Beach Sheriff Rocky Holcomb. “The VBSO is all about connecting
with the community and providing positive law enforcement role models for the next
generation. We hope to see a lot of people ready to have some Easter fun with us.”

The Easter Bunny will be there for families to take photos with. There will also be a golden egg containing a special prize. The Sheriff’s Office will also provide Easter-themed coloring pages.

They ask that you bring your own baskets for the hunt.
