LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Vice President Kamala Harris will campaign in Las Vegas on Friday, June 28, a day after President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump square off in a CNN debate.

Harris “will highlight the stakes of this election for Latino voters,” according to Nevada campaign officials.

Latinos represent a growing force in Nevada’s electorate, and the Biden-Harris campaign is working to preserve Democrats’ appeal in the Hispanic community. Biden trails Trump by 2.8 points in the latest Emerson College Polling/8NewsNow/The Hill poll, released June 20.

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will accompany Harris on the visit.

This is VP Harris’ fifth visit to Nevada. In January, her first visit to a battleground state in 2024 was to Nevada.

In her visits to Nevada, Vice President Harris has met with Culinary Union members and rallied voters ahead of the June 11 primary. She has also held a rally with Latino voters, visited Broadacres swap meet and held a reproductive rights organizing event.
