Wake-Up Weather: development of potential tropical cyclone one in the G.O.M and what that could mean for the big country

Summary: Temperatures closer to seasonal today with cloud cover to start the early morning, during the day clouds and early rain showers decrease. Juneteenth arrives with more cloud cover and a small dose of rain showers through early Friday before clearing out and drying up by the weekend. Summer officially begin Thursday but we will be below average thanks to potential tropical cyclone one or soon to be tropical storm Alberto. This tropical cyclone is expected to make landfall in northern/north central Mexico. This brings rain chances down to compared to yesterday. High resolution models indicate that we should anticipate between 0.10″-1.25″ of rain across the big country and heartland.

Today: Partly sunny with clouds decrease as early morning showers push briefly from west to east. Seasonal, humid and gusty through the day. High Temperature: 93° Winds: S 15-20 G 30 MPH

Tonight: Mostly clear with temperatures near seasonal, gusty with cloud cover increasing overnight into Wednesday. Low Temperature: 72° Winds: SE 10-20 G 30 MPH
