Wanted fugitive arrested in Henderson County

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) announced that a man who is a “wanted fugitive from multiple counties” and a woman were arrested after a narcotics search on Thursday.

According to the HCSO, at approximately 4:26 a.m. on Thursday, narcotics investigators and the Henderson County Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators performed a narcotics search at 14751 County Road 2938 in Eustace.

Officials said that during the search Richard Slay, 49 of Eustace, and Katie Wiggins, 51 of Eustace, were found in the residence and both in possession of suspected methamphetamines. The sheriff’s office said that Slay is a wanted fugitive in multiple counties.

The HCSO said that Slay and Wiggins were both taken to the Henderson County Jail and charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.
