BOSTON — Celtics center Luke Kornet — a former Vanderbilt standout — led the crowd in celebrating the franchise's NBA championship record during a parade Friday.

Kornet led the crowd at Friday's victory parade in counting the number of championships the Celtics franchise has won.

The Celtics won their 18th NBA championship on Monday after defeating the Dallas Mavericks, 106-88, in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Kornet’s mom, WSMV Channel 4 anchor Tracy Kornet, also rode in the parade, with Luke Kornet’s two small children.
