White Marsh Mall carnival canceled after four minors are arrested Saturday night

A carnival at the White Marsh Mall has been canceled after four minors were arrested Saturday night.

The Dreamland Amusements Carnival was scheduled to run April 4 to 14 until 10 p.m. each night. Baltimore County Police said Sunday afternoon that the event has been canceled in its entirety following police intervention Saturday night.

The carnival was staffed with security and off-duty officers who requested backup due to “multiple disturbances” before staff closed the carnival earlier than planned, police said.

Three of the arrests were related to “carnival disturbance,” while the fourth was related to “an unrelated theft,” police said.

There were no injuries, and reports of shots fired are unverified, police said.
