Williamson Medical Center’s West Tower in Franklin plans to host a community event on June 18 to celebrate its recent expansion and renovation.

From children’s activities to facility tours, free food, entertainment and more, the afternoon celebration will include a ribbon cutting and discussions on the future.

Williamson Health leadership, elected officials and award-winning county music singer Luke Bryan and his wife, Caroline, will be on hand for the event, according to the hospital.

Williamson Medical Center’s West Tower bears the Boyer-Bryan name in recognition of the families of Luke and Caroline (Boyer) Bryan and the Brett Boyer Foundation in honor of their support of the hospital’s “More for You. Close to Home.” fundraising campaign.

Luke Bryan serves as honorary chair and Caroline Bryan as co-chair of the campaign.

As a nod to the milestone and in honor of the healthcare professionals who will care for patients in the newly renovated space, Williamson Medical Center recently released photos of newborns dressed in doctor and nurse outfits handcrafted by Bizzy Bee Crochet.

The June 18 ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at 321 Carothers Parkway.
