People Are Not Happy that Casey Affleck Won the Best Actor Oscar
Tonight, Casey Affleck took home the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Manchester by the Sea. While this might be a reason for celebration for the new Oscar-winner, not everyone was so eager to join in with the applause.
Twitter was quick to call out the fact that Affleck's sexual abuse and harassment allegations should have prevented him from winning the prestigious award. Many also argued that Denzel Washington deserved the Oscar for his role in Fences over Affleck.
