Prime Day is an annual 48-hour shopping event for new and existing Amazon Prime members. The two-day extravaganza includes deals on some of Amazon's most popular products, including smart tech, kitchen tools, home products, beauty essentials, fashion staples, fitness gadgets and more.
But when does the online sale begin? Here's what we know.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?
Amazon Prime Day takes place in July this year, but specific dates have yet to be announced. However, The Tennessean reports the 48-hour sale usually happens after the Fourth of July.
When was the last Amazon Prime Day?
In 2023, Prime Day started on Tuesday, July 11, and ended Wednesday, July 12. Amazon also added another Prime members-only sale in October, called Prime Big Deal Days, which ran from Tuesday, October 10, through Wednesday, October 11.

This year's Prime Day deals have yet to be announced. However, several electronics and kitchen gadgets typically go on sale.
