Bedford GM plant to host electronics recycling day on June 5

The General Motors Bedford Casting Operations plant will host a free electronics recycling day from 2 to 6 p.m. June 5, according to a news release.

Most electronics with a power cord or circuit board will be accepted at the plant, located at 105 GM Drive in Bedford.

Accepted items include: Small batteries, televisions, cameras, printers, CD Players/DVD players, radios, cell phones/smartphones, small home appliances, computers/keyboards/mouse, gaming consoles/systems and other electronic devices.

Not accepted items include refrigerant units, small engines, light bulbs, thermostats and smoke detectors.
