The physical editions of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics are now available for preorder. The game launches on PC, PlayStation, and Switch this year, though physical editions are only available for PS4/PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

What’s in the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection?

The Fighting Collection features games from the first seven years of Marvel and Capcom’s partnership. Players also get access to behind-the-scenes artwork and all the music from the arcade classics. It also introduces online competitive and co-op multiplayer, global leaderboards, a training mode, difficulty settings, and the option for one-button combos. The Collection also lets the player choose between the English and Japanese versions of each game.

The Fighting Collection includes the following seven titles:

  • The Punisher (1993)

  • X-Men: Children Of The Atom (1994)

  • Marvel Super Heroes (1995)

  • X-Men Vs. Street Fighter (1996)

  • Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter (1997)

  • Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash Of Superheroes (1998)

  • Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes (2000)

In addition to the online features and difficulty options, Collection makes a few changes from the original games. X-Men: Children Of The Atom and Marvel Super Heroes have additional playable characters that players can enable from the Game Settings. The Collection also makes Cyber-Akuma playable in Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter. Capcom also made some changes to the ending of the Japanese version of The Punisher.

Fans can preorder the physical PlayStation and Switch versions of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics for $ 49.99 from Amazon and other retailers.
