Madonna Shades BET Again After Prince Tribute Controversy
Still sour? Madonna doesn't seem to be over BET's diss after her Prince tribute performance at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The pop diva took to Instagram on Sunday to sprinkle some shade on the network yet again.
"Wearing the jacket Prince gave me back in the day without permission from BET. lol!" she captioned the throwback pic. "God Bless America. 🇺🇸 and yes that's Marilyn!"

She followed that up with another image of herself in sunglasses, writing, "I Will Shade You. Hahahhahahahhahah."
BET first traded blows immediately following Madonna's performance with Stevie Wonder, tweeting a now-deleted clip that showed Prince's iconic symbol, writing, "Yeah, we saw that. Don't worry. We got you."

Madonna did not take the insult lightly, later going on an online rant against the network.
"Anyone who wants to do a tribute to Prince is welcome to. Whatever your age gender or skin color," Madonna captioned a pic of herself after the show in Las Vegas. "If you loved him and he inspired you then show it!!!! I love Prince 4 ever."
