    Marlins DFA player from Luis Arraez trade as part of Rangers deal

    The Miami Marlins on Thursday acquired recently DFA'ed right-hander Shaun Anderson from the Texas Rangers in exchange for cash. In order to make room for Anderson, Miami designated right-hander Woo-Suk Go for assignment, per Craig Mish of The Miami Herald: “Marlins acquired pitcher Shaun Anderson from the Rangers for cash. The Woo-Suk Go brief Marlins era is over. He was DFA'd as the corresponding move. He was in the Arraez trade for posterity.” The 25-year-old Go was one of the top relievers in the KBO over the last few years and made his way to MLB via the posting system this winter.
